John Tackitt

John Tackitt is an accomplished Security Coordinator and Senior Staff member in the nuclear energy sector, with over 20 years of experience in crisis response, operational leadership, and regulatory compliance. Previously serving in the U.S. Army as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, John developed leadership skills through diverse global assignments. At Entergy, John oversaw various security roles, including leading Nuclear Security Training and managing security operations to ensure compliance with NRC regulations. John also served as a Police Transition Team Chief in the U.S. Army Reserve, providing training and operational oversight during combat deployment in Iraq. John holds a degree in Law Enforcement from Lake Michigan College.
