Jonathan Alvis serves as the Manager of Emerging Technology at Entergy since November 2012, leading initiatives to assess new power generation technologies and facilitating the company's transition to net zero while ensuring affordability and reliability. Throughout a diverse career at Entergy, roles have included Project Manager for Power Development and Senior Analyst, focusing on new generation resources, energy storage, carbon capture, and regulatory compliance. Previous positions include serving as an Insurance Agent at Bankers Life and Casualty Company and a Museum Technician at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum, where preservation of historical artifacts was key. Jonathan Alvis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Texas A&M University.
