Michael Plaisance

Michael Plaisance serves as a Commercial Originator and Senior Advisor at Entergy since March 2023, providing strategic commercial guidance on capacity and energy products. Concurrently, Plaisance is involved with the U.S. Soccer Federation as a Staff Coach for the Olympic Development Program and the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans as Head Varsity Soccer Coach. Beyond these roles, Plaisance has held the position of Executive Director at Coerver Coaching since August 2016, leading soccer training and development programs across Louisiana. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Legal and Risk at Ampirical and Senior Counsel at Entergy, where significant legal proceedings were managed before the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Earlier career roles included working as Counsel at BP and Gas Accountant at El Paso Merchant Energy. Plaisance holds a Master of Laws in Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management, a Bachelor of Arts in English, and a Doctor of Law, all from Loyola University.
