Robert Melton

Robert Melton currently serves as the Engineering Director at Entergy, beginning in November 2023, after holding the position of Director of Regulatory Assurance & Performance Improvement at the same company from February 2009 to May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Organizational Effectiveness Leader at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) from May 2022 to November 2023, and a notable tenure in the US Navy where Robert was an Anti-Submarine Warfare Instructor and Division Officer on the USS Florida. Robert's extensive experience encompasses overseeing critical equipment operations, developing plant personnel, and leading emergency responses, coupled with a solid educational foundation in Engineering Physics from Miami University and training at Naval Nuclear Power School.
