Viraj Bagal

Viraj Bagal is an AI Engineer at Enterpret since August 2023, focusing on deriving insights from customer feedback using artificial intelligence and tackling various challenges such as translation and text generation. Previously, as a Machine Learning Engineer at Synapsica from April 2021 to August 2023, Viraj worked on text classification using patient data, successfully training and deploying DistilBERT for enhanced diagnostic performance. Viraj began the career as a Machine Learning Intern at IIIT Hyderabad between April 2020 and March 2021, contributing significantly to projects that applied Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing in healthcare, including an interpretable visual question answering system that surpassed prior models in both accuracy and efficiency. Viraj holds a BS-MS degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, earned in June 2021.
