Jim Weber

Jim Weber has extensive work experience in network and security engineering. Jim is currently the Director of Network & Security Engineering at Enterprise Integration since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager of Network & Security Engineering at the same company from November 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Enterprise Integration, Jim worked as a Lead Network Engineer at the same company from June 2021 to November 2021.

From 2019 to 2023, Jim worked as a Senior Network Engineer at TEKSystems/AT&T Global Business/Perspecta. In this role, they were responsible for engineering router and switch equipment in the Classified enclave of the US Navy's NMCI network. Jim provided support for installations across the continental United States and worked on improving network design and efficiency.

From 1998 to 2019, Jim worked at Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Senior Network Engineer. Jim supported CSX Transportation, a large North American railroad, by providing telecommunications services for rail yards and service centers. Jim also supported corporate networks with over 1000 locations and a control network for trains and railroad signals.

Before joining the private sector, Jim served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1987 to 2013. Jim held various leadership roles and supported the Coast Guard's computer networks. Jim also played important roles in major national events such as oil spills, NASA Space shuttle operations, and wartime operations like Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Jim Weber earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University, completing the program from 1992 to 1994.
