Anil Kumar

Anil Kumar is currently working as the Head of Product for EDB, specializing in Postgres Distributed & AI. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product for Axon, where they played a crucial role in standardizing cloud-native capabilities and developing the product vision and strategy for the Pillar Head of Axon Foundation Services. Anil also has extensive experience with Couchbase, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Product Management and Principal Product Manager, overseeing product development, roadmap, and partnerships. Anil has earlier worked at Microsoft, Gantec Corporation, Intel Corporation, Hansen Technologies, and Cybertribe Inc. as a Software Consultant and Software Engineer.

Anil Kumar has a diverse education history. In 2021-2022, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, in 2011-2012, they obtained a degree in Software Product Management from the University of Washington. Anil also holds a certificate in Effective Human Interactions & Relationships from Dale Carnegie, which they obtained in 2010. In 2003-2005, they completed their MS in Computer Sciences from Toronto Canada. Before that, from 1998-2002, they earned a B Tech in Computer Sc. & Engg from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Anil started their educational journey with a Pre-University degree in Science from KLE Society's P.C. Jabin Science College, which they obtained in 1996-1998. Lastly, they completed their High School education from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 1985-1995. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as AI product management, communication, and creating product-centric organizations.
