Devrim Gündüz

Devrim Gündüz has extensive work experience in the field of database management and consultancy. In 2003, they worked as a Technical Manager at TDM until 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they served as a System Administrator and PostgreSQL Consultant at Command Prompt Inc. Devrim then worked as a Lead PostgreSQL DBA at Markafoni from 2010 to 2011. In 2006, they also worked as an IT Support Specialist and PostgreSQL DBA at Parkyeri. Additionally, Devrim has been actively contributing to the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since 2001 as a Contributor and lead RPM packager. Starting in 2006, they became a Contributor/Packager for the Fedora Project. Devrim founded GITC Pro Limited in 2017 and Gündüz Bilişim Danışmanlığı in 2011, where they provided PostgreSQL and Red Hat/CentOS consultancy services in Turkey. Currently, Devrim works as a Disk Jockey from July 2022 onwards. Furthermore, they have held the role of Principal Systems Engineer at EnterpriseDB since 2011, where they have worked on various teams like Professional Services, Technical Account Manager, and Pre-sales, providing services to customers worldwide.

Devrim Gündüz received a Mathematics degree (Sn) from Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi) in the years 1993-1998. In addition, Devrim holds certifications from the United Latino Students Association as an LSA Pro DJ and from Red Hat as a Red Hat Certified Engineer, obtained in 2023 and May 2006 respectively.
