Martín Marqués

Martín Marqués has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Martín is currently working at EDB as the Director of Software Engineering. Prior to this, they were the Engineering Manager for Database Operations Technology at EDB and Senior Manager for Global Support Operations. Before joining EDB, Marqués worked at 2ndQuadrant as the Support Services Manager for America and Pacific and as a Support and Remote DBA. Martín also has teaching experience as a Docente cátedra Programación y Matemática Discreta and Ayudante de Cátedra at Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Marqués has held the role of Encargado de Desarrollos Informáticos y Bases de Datos at Centro de Telemática/Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Martín has also worked as a Consultor externo at INTEC and as an Asistente técnico en informatica at the Instituto Provincial de Estadística y Censo - Santa Fe.

Martín Marqués studied at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral from 1995 to 2005, where they obtained a Licenciatura en Matemáticas Aplicadas with a focus on Mathematics and Programming. Martín also holds additional certifications in Leadership Foundations, SCRUM con un café, and Agile Foundations from LinkedIn, obtained in the years 2023, 2022, and 2022 respectively.
