As chief legal and legislative officer, Mike Andrew leads the organization’s global legal and government relations activities. He also advises on a wide range of business issues. Andrew was promoted to his current position after serving as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Andrew joined Enterprise Holdings in 2016 after garnering experience from previous executive-level legal positions throughout the global business travel industry. He now manages a number of areas within the organization from a legal perspective. Andrew’s focus includes areas such as global operations, global sales, customer service, marketing, product innovation, e-commerce and brand management.
Prior to joining Enterprise, Andrew was the executive vice president and general counsel at Carlson. He held various senior legal positions with Marriott, including senior vice president and deputy general counsel of Marriott Vacations Worldwide. At both organizations, he helped develop corporate strategy and led geographically diverse teams of lawyers across North America, Europe and Asia.
Before his work with Marriott International, Andrew practiced law at two Florida firms and served as a law clerk in Florida’s 13th Circuit Court. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history with honors from the University of Florida and law degree with honors from Stetson University.
Andrew currently serves as a trustee for the Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS) and on the advisory council for the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute at the University of Florida. He was previously honored as the St. Louis Business Journal’s General Counsel of the Year and tabbed to the Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite list.
