When Emilio Scotto was 9 years old, he told his mother, “Tomorrow, I am going to travel around the world.” She laughed, and replied, “Tomorrow, you are going to school, not around the world.” But from that day on, Scotto set his mind on wandering the planet, certain that one day his dream would became a reality.

Many people may have claimed to be “King of the Road,” but according to the Guinness Book of Records, Emilio Scotto is the man who carries that distinction.
Scotto holds the record since 1997 as the person who made the longest journey on a motorcycle – a journey that Guinness doubts will ever be surpassed.

His new book, THE LONGEST RIDE: My 10-Year 500,000 Miles Motorcycle Journey, (best reviews and 4 ½ in Amazon) is a personal chronicle of extraordinary scope and insight about a magnificent and terrifying world, more exotic and alien than any Hollywood mind can conjure.
