Robert van Herk

Robert van Herk has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Robert is currently the Director of Software Development at Entis since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Connectis from 2012 to 2020, starting as a Senior Research and Development Specialist and eventually became the Director of Research and Development. At Serious Toys from 2011 to 2012, they held the role of Software Architect, where they developed Tangible Gaming Applications. Robert also worked as a Research Scientist at Philips Research from 2005 to 2011, focusing on product innovation and obtaining numerous patents. Robert'scareer started as a Programmer at Iris Huisstijlautomatisering from 1998 to 2001.

Robert van Herk obtained their MSc in Computer Science (cum laude) from Utrecht University between the years 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended Johan de Witt gymnasium from 1993 to 1999, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or field of study during this time.
