Tom Quick

CEO at EntityX

Tom Quick has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tom is currently the CEO of EntityX, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Tom was a Founder at EntityX starting from November 2019.

Before their current role, Tom founded Percept in 2016, where they served as the CEO until May 2020. Percept is an automated benchmarking system for brand investment in digital media.

Tom's previous experience includes founding and being the CEO of Smesh from 2009 to 2018. Smesh specializes in building high-performance data processing, AI, and machine learning systems.

Additionally, Tom held the position of CTO at Poke from December 2008 to March 2013. Tom was responsible for leading a team of creative developers and overseeing business development, account management, and project delivery.

Tom also founded and served as the CTO of Netemic Ltd from 2006 to 2008, a social media monitoring platform. Furthermore, they were the Chief Technical Officer at Digit London Ltd from 2002 to 2006, where they managed technical infrastructure, teams, and provided consultancy for various client projects. Overall, Tom Quick has significant experience in founding and leading technology-based companies in various industries.

Tom Quick completed their education in a chronological fashion. Tom first attended King's College London from 1990 to 1991, where they earned a LLB degree in Law. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at Heythrop College, University of London, from 1991 to 1994. Moving forward, they attended UCL from 1995 to 1996, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science. Finally, they continued their education at UCL from 1996 to 2001, earning a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Life, and Adaptive Systems.
