Joseph Bayer has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Service Advisor at Crew Carwash, where they won numerous outstanding service and top sales awards. Joseph then interned at Rolls-Royce in 2011 and 2012 in the Dynamics department, where they assisted with turbine blade analysis and HCF testing. In 2016, they worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at American Art Clay Company, where they developed and oversaw implementation of covering process for clay boards and designed and implemented a system of dispensing various liquid product. Joseph then worked at Open Control Systems as a Controls Engineer from 2017-2019, where they created submittals for various projects and wrote DDC to control units. In 2019, they worked as a Project Manager at Jackson Systems, LLC, where they wrote DDC to control units and organized electrical subcontracting on projects. Finally, they are currently working as a Sr. Application Engineer at CBRE | ESI, where they are responsible for the integration of numerous third party control brands into a centralized Niagara server structure and coordination and assistance for sub-contractors both in-person and remote.

Joseph Bayer attended Purdue University from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Joseph then attended Purdue University - Indianapolis from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2017, they obtained three certifications: an Alerton Certified Engineer (ACE) - Engineering & Commissioning from Alerton, an Alerton Certified Engineer (ACE) - Programming from Alerton, and a Tridium AX/N4 Certified from Tridium.
