Spence brings to Entre.One over 30 years’ experience in content marketing, strategy & distribution; branding; events; sponsorship & partnership development; and OTT & mobile app development.
Prior to joining Entre.One, he was Chief Marketing Officer for EDGEtv, an adventure lifestyle streaming service, and previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Exodus Film Group, an independent feature animation & television production company.
Spence spent seven years at The Walt Disney Company working for several divisions, on three feature films, with his last role in the New Technology & Development group, serving as liaison between corporate & creative groups and technology companies, helping the company navigate the intersecting worlds of entertainment and emerging technologies. In 1994 he was instrumental in the Television Academy’s landmark event, “The Superhighway Summit,” a theory-and-practice primer on the nascent, yet burgeoning, digital revolution, which brought together leaders from the worlds of entertainment, technology, politics, and academia.
Spence is an active member of the Producers Guild of America, Television Academy, and NATPE. His speaking engagements include the Writers Guild of America, UCLA, Whitworth College, Hollywood Film Festival, and SIGGRAPH. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from Whitworth College, studied Television Broadcasting at Gonzaga University, and attended the United States Air Force Academy.
An avid snowboarder, Spence was raised in the former capital of Russian America – Sitka, Alaska, where he worked in television and radio, was active in numerous theatre productions, earned his private pilot’s license through his involvement with Civil Air Patrol, and played in the city soccer league.
