Soner Candas

Soner Candas is a Senior Data Scientist at Entrix, where they have been contributing since 2025. Previously, Soner served as a Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich while pursuing a Ph.D. in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems from 2018 to 2023. They gained early experience as a Working Student at K.GROUP GmbH, assisting in the development of a cost analysis tool for smart meter systems from 2016 to 2018, and also held various internships in production, design, and research prior to that. Soner earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a Master's degree in Power Engineering from Technische Universität München, both contributing to their strong foundation in the field.
