David Neeley

David Neeley has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 at Cibus, where they served as a Research Specialist, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate. As a Research Specialist, they were responsible for the development of library prep protocols and data analysis methods for a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) screening platform. As a Senior Research Associate, they supported multiple research groups by developing as part of the molecular screening team and as a Research Associate, they maintained a sample catalog indicating qualitative and quantitative features of over 30 crop species to identify top producing varieties, as well as developing gene editing techniques and protocols to be used on commercially available yeast strains. In 2018, they joined EntroGen, Inc. as a Data Scientist and Associate Scientist.

David Neeley received their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from UC San Diego between 2008 and 2010.
