Carine Thorkelson

Carine Thorkelson has extensive experience in business continuity and emergency management, having held senior roles at Entrust from August 2021 to January 2021, where positions included Sr Manager Business Continuity, Business Continuity Manager, and Business Continuity Director. Prior to this, Carine served as Emergency Management Coordinator at The Ottawa Hospital for a brief period in early 2021. Carine's earlier career includes a role as Compliance & Business Continuity Consultant at CGI from October 2008 to May 2015, and as Business Administrator for HERT at the Public Health Agency of Canada from December 2007 to September 2008. Academically, Carine holds a Master's degree in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology from Trent University, supplemented by a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from Fleming College.
