Gerry Humphrey

Gerry Humphrey has extensive experience in product management and entrepreneurship, currently serving in product management at Entrust Datacard since February 2019. As the owner of Humphrey Amps since September 2009, Gerry has designed and developed a range of high-end tube amplifiers and speakers for acoustic guitars, leveraging expertise in CAD/CAM and CNC technology, while also securing endorsements from prominent musicians. Previous roles include Senior Director at Seagate Technology from July 2013 to September 2015, where Gerry led a team focused on SSD product qualification and customer relationships, and Executive Director of Strategic Marketing/Planning at Seagate from February 1992 to July 2009, driving significant market share growth and profitability. Earlier career positions included managerial and engineering roles at Rodime and Unisys, following a degree from the University of the West of Scotland.
