Mike Baxter

Michael Baxter is an experienced leader in technology and engineering, currently serving as the Chief Technology and Product Officer and General Manager of Bureau Solutions at Entrust since 2010, focusing on hardware and software solutions in payment, identity, IoT, and cybersecurity. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Vice President of Engineering and Operations at FSI International, where contributions were made to semiconductor processing equipment. Earlier experience includes serving as an Engineering Manager and Corporate Researcher at Solvay, where work in research and automotive technology was highlighted, and as a Chemical Laser Systems Engineer in the USAF, focusing on directed energy weapons technology. Michael holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, in addition to a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
