Utpal Vaidya

Utpal Vaidya has extensive experience in the field of materials research and development, currently serving as Vice President of Materials R&D at Entrust since June 1994, where previous roles included Director and Manager of Materials R&D, as well as Senior and Principal Polymer Chemist. Prior to joining Entrust, Utpal worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota, focusing on the synthesis and application of functional polymers and the development of biodegradable plastics. Earlier experience includes working as R&D Manager at Rand Polyproducts and serving as a Research Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India. Utpal holds a PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Pune and an MSc from the University of Jabalpur.
