Robert Peterson

Chief Technology Strategist at EntryPoint Networks

Mr. Peterson received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Idaho State University and his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho. Mr. Peterson has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Idaho and has extensive experience in networking, internet services, communications, and system administration.

Mr. Peterson worked at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) as a systems analyst from 1987 – 1993. One of the projects at the INL was modernizing the Health Information system for the Department of Energy (DOE). His work on this project took advantage of the Internet Protocol. n 1993 Mr. Peterson architected and engineered SRVNet, Inc., the first internet service provider in southeast Idaho. Since 1998, Mr. Peterson has been an independent consultant specializing in networking and security.

Mr. Peterson is the author of four patents in the area of Telecommunications Networking. Mr. Peterson is also an advisor to the University of Idaho, and the City of Ammon on a National Science Foundation EAGER project related to Network Slicing for Emergency Communications.
