Håkon Onsager

Håkon Onsager has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Håkon is currently working at Entur AS as the Leader for Data og Innsikt, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they were a Team Lead at Entur AS from August 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Entur AS, Håkon Onsager worked at Dentsu Aegis Network Norge AS as the Head of Data Technology. In this role, they managed a team responsible for developing big data platform services, data science services, and automated reporting solutions for all their brands. This position started in August 2017.

Håkon Onsager also has experience as the Owner/Founder of Onsager Consulting, where they worked from August 2011 to June 2017. In this role, they worked with critical Oracle Databases, specializing in RAC, RAC One, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Golden Gate, RMAN, Linux administration, and SAN configuration. Håkon also worked as a System Architect, designing and implementing a consolidated database platform for patient journals systems.

Prior to Onsager Consulting, Håkon Onsager served as a Team Manager of Expert Services at NSA AS from January 2008 to June 2011. In this role, they managed and developed a specialized team of consultants skilled in Oracle and Open Source technologies, primarily focusing on critical 24/7 applications on HA/DR-solutions.

Håkon Onsager has also worked at Oracle as a Principal Consultant and Database Architect, starting in August 2005. Before that, they worked at the University of Oslo as a Database Administrator and Project Leader from December 1998 to August 2005. Håkon also has experience as a System Developer at Nimbus Software AS from January 2001 to January 2002.

Throughout their career, Håkon Onsager has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and areas, including database management, system architecture, project management, and data analysis.

Håkon Onsager attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Informathics. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they attended Befalsskolen i Fredrikstad and obtained a degree in Officer, specializing in Lett Luftvern.
