Andrew Wright is a Senior Principal in Renewables and Energy Storage at Entura, with extensive experience in leading wind, solar, and hybrid off-grid projects since October 2005. Responsibilities include bidding, negotiating technical scopes, managing project delivery, and overseeing multidisciplinary teams. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a Wind Tunnel Technician and Tutor at the University of Newcastle, focusing on wind tunnel modifications and anemometer calibrations from March 2002 to September 2005. Earlier experience includes work as an Assistant Research Engineer at Technology in Blacksburg, Inc., where data acquisition and analysis for high-speed wind tunnel tests were conducted in May 2001. Andrew Wright holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerodynamics and the Operation of a Small Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine from the University of Newcastle, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University.
