David Ross

David Ross has a diverse work experience in the insurance and risk management industry. David'smost recent role was as the Executive Vice President of ILS & Capital at Envelop Risk since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bernina Re from December 2019 to October 2022, serving as the Lead Underwriter US and Retro and later as the Head of Analytics. Before that, they were the Head of Deal Analysis at Nephila Capital from September 2014 to July 2019. David also worked as an Actuary at Amlin Bermuda from August 2012 to September 2014, as the Head of Capital Modelling at Argo Group from July 2010 to August 2012, and as a Senior Actuary at Torus Insurance from April 2008 to July 2010. Further back in their career, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Actuary at Guy Carpenter from September 2003 to April 2008, and worked as an Actuary at KPMG UK from September 2000 to September 2003.

David Ross attended the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.).
