DevOps and Development Engineer at Enveyo

Bryan Anders has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Bryan is currently working as a DevOps and Development Engineer at Enveyo since 2022.

Prior to this, Bryan worked at PC-Doctor, Inc. from 2018 to 2022. Bryan started as a Software Engineer and eventually grew to become a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, Bryan was responsible for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading services for the ingestion, processing, and delivery of diagnostic data. Bryan worked on various tasks such as creating CI/CD flows, configuring Kubernetes clusters, installing and expanding Hadoop clusters, contributing to the deployment of a data warehouse, and upgrading aging team services. Bryan also played a key role in monitoring and maintaining Kafka clusters, building a distributed Protobuf-to-ORC converter, creating data flows with the Pentaho suite, and resolving processing issues. Bryan also had experience in monitoring Kubernetes resource usage, Kafka, and Hadoop cluster services using Prometheus and Grafana dashboards.

Before joining PC-Doctor, Inc., Bryan worked at Commerce Architects from 2015 to 2018. Bryan started as a Junior Software Engineer and gradually took on more responsibilities. In this role, they contributed to ATG (Oracle Commerce) implementations, worked on ATG components and WARs, managed repository and database transfers, built REST endpoints, utilized jQuery and JSPs for front-end development, and collaborated on testing and debugging tasks. Bryan also worked on project management with git, utilized Eclipse IDE for Java development, wrote bash scripts for automation, and participated in product launches.

Bryan's work experience also includes a programming internship at MousePaw Games from 2015 to 2016. Here, they worked on creating a parser to convert SVG files into bytecode for rendering, aiming to reduce the footprint of SVGs on old machines with limited resources.

Bryan Anders attended Spokane Falls Community College from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued an AST track 2 degree in Computer Science. After completing their studies at the community college, they then enrolled at Eastern Washington University from 2013 to 2015. At Eastern Washington University, Bryan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
