Ruby S.

Ruby S. is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a focus on environmental issues. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist for Global Mission Content at the Environmental Defense Fund since May 2021, Ruby has previously held roles as a Digital Marketing Associate and Assistant in the Energy Transition sector at the same organization. Prior experience includes a Communications Associate position at the Texas Public Power Association, a Volunteer Copywriter role at Rainforest Partnership, and a Communications Intern position at Colorado River Alliance. Ruby also worked as a Marketing Intern at Cien and as a Legal Assistant at Shell & Shell, Attorneys at Law. Ruby holds a degree in Journalism with a specialization in Environment & Sustainability from The University of Texas at Austin and has participated in an IES Abroad program in Barcelona, Spain, affiliated with the Moody College of Communication.
