Rex Everett joined EnviroScience in 2022 as a Herpetologist and Project Manager based in the Pennsylvania office. Rex is recognized as a Qualified Timber Rattlesnake Surveyor and Primary Venomous Snake Monitor. He has been providing surveys and construction biomonitoring services for reptiles since 2013.
Rex has diverse capabilities and experience as a field biologist and consultant. He assists clients with state and federal consultation for threatened and endangered species, botanical surveys, Allegheny woodrat surveys, natural diversity inventories, and wetland delineations. He has a strong background in invasive species management and in implementing habitat projects for game and non-game species, including large-scale pollinator planting. Rex is also a FAA Remote Pilot.
As a project manager, Rex is attentive to client needs, adept at logistics, and holds a high standard for quality in reporting. Rex is a member of the PA Chapter of the Wildlife Society and the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
In his free time, Rex conducts long-term research projects on timber rattlesnake habitats and populations in north-central Pennsylvania.
