Jay Acker is a Regional Safety Health & Environmental Supervisor with multi-state coverage across Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. A journalist turned safety professional, Acker has dedicated eight years to writing about Health, Safety, and Environmental principles, creating policies, training materials, and compliance documentation for various regulatory agencies. Currently working at EnviroServe, Acker maintains safety readiness in the Southwest Region, conducting training and managing safety equipment, while also teaching OSHA classes to staff. Jay previously held roles in journalism and safety coordination, developing a comprehensive understanding of safety management systems and compliance requirements. Acker is pursuing an education in Occupational Safety and Health Technology at Gateway Community College.
