Robert Williams

Robert Williams has a long history of experience in finance and operations. Robert began their career in 2004 as a Financial Planning and Analysis Team Lead at Verizon, where they managed the payment process for $30M in telecom bills, performed cost analyses to support negotiations of carrier contracts, forecasted wire line costs to assess and reduce financial risk relating to contracts, and audited carrier billings. During this time, they supervised 3 direct reports and achieved a main accomplishment of saving $5. In 2013, they moved to Cbeyond - now a Birch Company - as an Operations & Financial Management Analyst, where they managed monthly forecasting for the telecom company's $155M annualized Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) spend by coordinating the efforts of 46 cost centers. Robert carried out variance analyses on forecast to actuals and forecast over forecast variances, and identified operational risks and opportunities to help in the management of network-related COGS. In 2015, they joined Ingenious Med as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they started as a financial analyst and grew into a Sr. Financial analyst over 6 years. During this time, they managed full P&L forecast and budgeting process for a $38M in Revenue SaaS company. Currently, Robert is a Finance Manager at EnviroSpark Energy Solutions.

Robert Williams attended the Scheller College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business.
