David Currie

David Currie has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David began their career as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force from 1990 to 2001. David then worked as a Test Engineer at Deutsch bank for a brief period in 2001, followed by a role as Senior Stress Test Manager at Telstra Internet.

From 2002 to 2009, they held the position of Service Delivery Manager at Lochard, where they focused on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and training. Subsequently, they joined Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S as the EMS Test Manager. In this role, they led the transition to an in-house test team and was responsible for developing the end-to-end test capability for environmental monitoring solutions.

In 2017, David became a Product Manager at EMS Brüel & Kjær, where they managed the global urban environmental monitoring platform. Their responsibilities included analyzing vertical markets and understanding their environmental compliance monitoring needs.

Currently, David is working at Envirosuite as the Global Head of Solutions, a role they started in April 2022. Additionally, they serve as an Environmental Intelligence advisor at Envirosuite since March 2020.

David Currie attended the Australian Defence Force Academy from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics with a focus on Computers and Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Wyong High School from 1984 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in January 2024. David also completed several LinkedIn courses on leadership and strategic thinking in the year 2021.
