Christopher Lamb has a diverse work experience in the scientific and medical industry. Christopher currently works as an Associate Scientific Director at Envision Pharma Group. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Scientific Director and Senior Medical Writer at Ashfield MedComms, where they produced scientific content for the medical and pharmaceutical industry, collaborated with clients and authors, and provided support for advisory boards and meetings. Earlier, Christopher worked as a Medical Writer and Associate Medical Writer at Physicians World Europe, where they contributed to medical writing projects. Christopher also gained research experience while working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute and Cancer Research UK, focusing on the role of membrane traffic regulators in autophagy. Additionally, Christopher worked as an Associate Faculty Member at Faculty of 1000 Ltd, reviewing literature and writing summaries in the autophagy field. Christopher began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, assisting in laboratory classes for undergraduate students.
Christopher Lamb began their education at Tower College Independent School from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained their GCSEs. Christopher then attended Widnes and Runcorn Sixth Form College from 2001 to 2003, specializing in A Level subjects such as Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and English Language/Literature. Following this, Christopher attended the University of Cambridge from 2003 to 2006 and earned their BA (Hons) degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Pathology. Lastly, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Wellcome Trust 4 year MRes/PhD in Molecular Functions in Disease at the University of Glasgow, specializing in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
