Alan Thomas

Alan Thomas is a Senior Systems Engineer at Envisioneering Inc since January 2019, specializing in R&M Technology Solutions. Previously, from June 1985 to December 2018, Alan held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, where expertise included the engineering of complex software-intensive weapon systems, weapon control systems, and ship systems, along with concept development, acquisition planning, and operational support. Alan is an advocate for model-based systems engineering techniques and possesses extensive experience in Science & Technology, applied research, and technology integration. Alan holds a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Virginia.
