Marla Singleton

Marla Singleton currently serves as a Senior STEM Analyst and STEM Communications and Marketing Strategist at Envisioneering Inc., providing contractor support to the Office of Naval Research since March 2020. Prior experience includes a role at NAVAIR from March 2009 to March 2020, where Marla acted as Site Co-Lead, researching and drafting a barrier analysis report focused on the African American workforce while also contributing to a diversity workforce survey. As a Mechanical Engineer at NAVAIR, Marla was instrumental in the design of the Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) program, implementing a cost-saving process for critical safety components. Marla holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Xavier University of Louisiana and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
