Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is a seasoned professional in the automation and technology sector with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since June 2013, Jim has served as the Director of Manufactured Technologies at EnvisionWare, Inc., focusing on RFID, self-service, and automated sorting solutions for libraries. In addition to consulting in the library automation industry, Jim held several chief operating officer and engineering management positions at companies such as MediaSurfer and IBEW Local 110 JATC, where responsibilities included instructing on programmable logic controllers. Jim's career also includes roles in product management, sales engineering, and project management at various firms. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Cloud State University, completed between 1985 and 1988.
