Kyle Smith

Kyle Smith has a diverse work experience in the automation and engineering industry. Kyle is currently serving as the Vice President of Automation at enVista since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Sr. Director of Robotics at enVista from July 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining enVista, Kyle held various roles at HCM Systems. Kyle served as the Director of Engineering from January 2016 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing engineering operations. Kyle also held the position of Manager - Systems Execution from January 2011 to December 2015, where they managed the execution of system projects. Additionally, Kyle worked as a Mechanical/Systems Engineer at HCM Systems from February 2005 to December 2010. Kyle specialized in designing conveyor systems and integrating material handling equipment into these systems, such as robots and palletizers. Kyle also handled project management for systems orders and provided onsite support.

Kyle Smith attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
