Derek Corbett, Ph.D. has extensive experience in researching lignocellulosic pretreatment and utilization of pretreatment product streams in value-added applications. With a background in isolating, characterizing, and utilizing biorefinery lignin, Derek has worked in various research and engineering roles in the biomass and renewable energy industry. Currently, Derek holds the position of Senior Process Engineer and Wood Science Process Engineer at Enviva.
