Lawrence Buckner

Lawrence Buckner, PE, PMP, CEM, serves as the Senior Project Engineering Manager at Enviva LP since September 2014, overseeing the development of a multi-million dollar Wood Products Biomass facility in Wilmington, NC. Previously, Buckner held the position of Staff Engineer, focusing on control systems for wood pellet manufacturing facilities. With a diverse career spanning several decades, Buckner has managed engineering projects at Evergreen Packaging, AMEC, Jacobs, Collins & Aikman, and AESI, excelling in roles such as Engineering Project Manager and Senior Lead Engineer. Buckner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University.
