Scott Hile has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Attorney at Cooley Godward LLP and Hunton & Williams LLP. Scott then transitioned to corporate roles at American & Efird, Milliken & Company, and Enviva, where they worked on corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic transactions. Hile also founded The Stamm Collaborative and served as the President of the Association of Corporate Counsel South Carolina. Additionally, they were an Adjunct Professor at Clemson University MBA Programs and a Faculty member at M&A Science.
Scott Hile obtained a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College in 1995. Scott then pursued further education at the University of South Carolina, where they earned a MIBS/IMBA degree in International Business from the Darla Moore School of Business and a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the Joseph F. Rice School of Law in 1999. In addition, they received a certificate in French and European Business from EAP at ESCP Business School in 1998. Prior to their degrees at Davidson College and the University of South Carolina, Scott also took classes in Economics, History, and Political Science at the University of Oxford from 1991 to 1993.
