Sigmond Jamison has held various engineering and quality management roles in automotive and manufacturing companies since 2000. Sigmond started as an Engine Development Coop at Detroit Diesel Corporation in 2000. Sigmond then worked at Bosch USA as a Fuel Injector Development Engineer Coop from 2003 to 2005. Sigmond continued their career at Nissan Motor Corporation as a Project Design Engineer, progressing to a role as a Design Release Engineer Level 3 from 2006 to 2009. At TiAL, they served as an Advanced Product Design, Metrology, and Manufacturing Engineer in 2009-2010. Their roles at Momentum Performance, Banks Power, and Honeywell involved quality management and engineering responsibilities. Sigmond then worked at General Motors as a Calibration Engineer & Drive Quality Specialist and at Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. as a Principal Engineer before joining Enviva, where they currently hold the position of Senior Director of Product Quality, overseeing operations and product quality.
Sigmond Jamison received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in 2005. Additionally, they attended Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences in the same year. Sigmond obtained certifications in MasterCam and SolidWorks in 2009, a Micro MBA in 2011, and a DFSS Blackbelt from General Motors in 2018.
