Sven Schubert

Sven Schubert has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Sven is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Envoria, a sustainability software company aiming to become the leading platform for companies. Prior to this, Sven held the role of Co-Founder and CEO at Contavio, a financial reporting software company, where they secured numerous large and mid-sized companies as customers.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Sven worked at PwC as a Manager in consulting, specializing in B2B-Enterprise Software & Processes. Sven was responsible for national and international software implementations in large companies. During this time, Sven achieved above-average sales and received top grades in internal assessments.

Sven also has experience as Co-Founder and Managing Director at IT-Box GmbH, a secure data cloud company that developed a fully compliant EU-based solution. Although the product gained initial traction, more experience was needed to make it commercially successful.

Early in their career, Sven gained industry experience as an IT Systems and Database Specialist at Ludwig Meister, where they were responsible for day-to-day IT operations and provided BI services for the management board. Sven also contributed to digitization and automation projects.

Prior to their corporate experience, Sven interned at MTU Aero Engines, where they gained exposure to IT service management.

Before joining the corporate world, Sven served in the German Federal Armed Forces, where they received accolades such as the Cross of Honor and Formal Recognition for Exemplary Performance of Duty. Sven was deployed in Afghanistan, where they were responsible for a Tactical IT System.

Most recently, Sven joined openESG GmbH as a Member of the Supervisory Board. openESG is a joint venture between fino, PPA Group, and Envoria, aimed at gathering and distributing required ESG data efficiently and safely.

Overall, Sven Schubert brings a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, IT management, and sustainability to their current and previous roles.

Sven Schubert received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Informatics from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Fachinformatiker Systemintegration (IHK) from the Industrie- und Handelskammer für München und Oberbayern, which they completed from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Sven Schubert has obtained several certifications. Sven earned a Certificate in Managerial Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in August 2020. Sven also holds a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online, which they obtained in June 2020, and a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from the same institution, which they obtained in May 2020.

Sven Schubert has further enhanced their skills and knowledge through various professional certifications. Sven completed the SAP RAR - Invite-only training organized by SAP in October 2016. Additionally, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2015. Sven Schubert also holds an Information Security Manager (IHK) certification from the IHK Akademie München und Oberbayern, which they obtained in November 2012. In September 2012, they achieved the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute. Lastly, Sven Schubert obtained the ITILv3 Foundation certification from EXIN in May 2012.
