Scott Tobin's work experience begins in 1989 when they started their career at Ford Motor Company. Scott held various engineering assignments until 1994 when they became the Manager of Cycle Planning. From 1997 to 1999, they served as the Powertrain Manager and later as the Powertrain Platform Manager. In 2002, they became the Chief Functional Engineer for Powertrain. From 2003 to 2006, they were the Vice President of Quality for Ford of Europe, where they achieved impressive quality results and implemented Six Sigma and lean processes. From 2006 to 2011, they served as the Vehicle Programs Director. In 2012, they joined the Lincoln Motor Company where they worked as the Director of Lincoln Product Development. During their time there, they revitalized the Lincoln line-up, delivered programs on time and with quality, transformed the culture and leadership capabilities, and implemented key experiences and technologies. In 2019, they became the CEO of ENVORSO.
Scott Tobin has a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Michigan, which they obtained between 1990 and 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987.
