William Rogers

Manager - Pulp, Recovery and Power at Envoy Development

William Rogers has a long history of work experience in the pulp, recovery and power industry. William began their career in 1992 at Georgia Pacific as a Sr. Process Engineer/Technical Services Manager, where they were responsible for process improvement in wood yard, pulping, bleaching, ClO2 generation, chemical recovery, Caustic Room operation, Power Boilers, Process water treatment, Boiler water treatment and safety projects. William also acted as Optimizer (area supt.) and shift foreman (12-14 Hourly Employees) when needed. In 2014, they moved to Evergreen Packaging as an Area Manager Pulp Manufacturing, where they were responsible for manufacturing bleached pine and hardwood pulp with 66 Hourly and 7 Salaried team members. William also led Dept. safety, environmental, quality and process improvement to achieve production and cost goals. In 2016, they joined Envoy Development as Manager - Pulp, Recovery and Power.

William Rogers attended North Carolina State University from 1978 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pulp & Paper. William then attended Lawrence University from 1983 to 1985, where they earned a Master of Science in Industrial and Physical Chemistry - Industrial and Paper Science Technology degree with a focus on Digester cracking and RB Corrosion.
