Subhajit Deb

Subhajit Deb is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Envoy Global. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President & Head of Information Security and Data Privacy at Dhani from January 2022 to April 2022. Before that, they were the Global CISO and DPO for APAC at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from July 2017 to March 2022. Subhajit also served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Max Life Insurance Company Limited from February 2016 to June 2017. In their previous role as the Assistant Vice President & Head of Information Security and Business Continuity at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, they were responsible for providing strategic oversight and managing the Information Security and Business Continuity program across 209 branches and the corporate offices in India. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Global Information Security at Bank of America from October 2007 to December 2012.

Subhajit Deb's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from the International Institute of Hotel Management, as well as several certifications in computer and information security. These include a Certified Information Security Manager certification from the Information Systems Audit and Controls Association, a Data Protection Officer Certification from Cyberjure Legal Consulting, and a BS 10012:2017 Personal Information Management and GDPR Implementor certification from the British Standards Institution. Subhajit Deb also holds certifications from APMG International in GCHQ Cyber Incident Planning and Response (CIPR), from BSI in Certified Payment-card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI), and from ISACA in Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Finally, Subhajit Deb has a Six Sigma Green Belt - Enhancement Of The Vulnerability Analysis Program certification from Bank of America.
