Sin Ying Koou has extensive experience in the field of environmental health and entomology, having served as a Senior Research Officer and Senior Scientist at the National Environment Agency from May 2012 to December 2018, leading the Pesticide Efficacy & Taxonomy Branch within the Vector Biology and Control Division. Currently, Sin Ying Koou works as a Solution Development Manager at Envu and has held leadership roles in solution development for pest management and vector control in the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, Sin Ying Koou serves as a Technical Assessor for the Singapore Accreditation Council since 2017, focusing on the SAC Laboratory Scheme (ISO 17025). Sin Ying Koou holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Entomology from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
