Chris Sommers is a seasoned professional in stormwater management and water quality, currently serving as a Board Member on the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Board of Directors since January 2021. With over 15 years of experience at EOA, Inc., Chris has held several positions including President, Vice President, and Managing Scientist, specializing in project management for stormwater management, water quality monitoring, and pollutant control programs in California. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Watershed Management Planning Specialist for the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, where responsibilities included developing stormwater quality monitoring programs and facilitating multi-agency collaborations. Chris holds a Master of Science in Water, Wetlands, and Marine Resources Management from Humboldt State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
