Dan Jones

Dan Jones oversees more than 60 comprehensive workforce health contracts consisting of a wide variety of customized programs such as medical exam services, drug & alcohol programs, return to work case management, and client onsite clinics. Dan is responsible for the successful execution of Acuity’s nationwide workforce occupational health programs, inclusive of commercial and government clients.

Prior to Acuity, Dan served for over thirty years in the US Army before retiring as a colonel. He held command and staff positions including Medical Troop Commander, 2nd Armored Cavalry, Operation Desert Storm; Director of Operations and Deputy Command Surgeon, US Central Command responsible for joint combat medical plans & operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. He culminated his duties as Director of Worldwide Healthcare Operations for the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM).

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mansfield University and received his MBA from St Martin’s University. He is a graduate of the DOD Joint Medical Planners and Joint Medical Strategic Leader course. Dan is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Military Officers Association of America.
