Brian Jansen

Brian Jansen is a seasoned reservoir engineering specialist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at EOG Resources since March 2020, Brian has previously held significant roles at Apache Corporation as a senior reservoir engineer, and at Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas as a reservoir engineer where Brian led technical evaluations of Gulf of Mexico discoveries. Brian's career includes noteworthy positions at Maersk Oil with responsibilities in both reservoir engineering and drilling engineering, including the design of deepwater exploration wells and economic evaluations of exploration prospects. Education includes an MBA from Rice Business and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
