David Cook

David Cook possesses extensive experience in reservoir engineering, having held various positions at reputable companies in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Division Engineering Manager for Reservoir at EOG Resources since September 2018, David has progressed through roles including Reservoir Manager for Engineering & Acquisitions and Reservoir Engineering Advisor. Prior experience includes a tenure at BHP as Principal Reservoir Engineer focused on the Permian Basin, and previous roles at EnerVest, Cobalt International Energy, and BHP Billiton, where expertise in deep water and shale evaluations was developed. David's career began at Marathon Oil Corporation, covering diverse offshore and onshore projects. David holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW, a Master's Degree in Offshore Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Robert Gordon University, along with a PgCert in Management from Durham University Business School.
