Hector Barrera

Hector Barrera is an experienced professional in materials management and operations with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Materials Manager at EOG Resources since November 2005, Hector is responsible for managing the pipe yard in the Eagle Ford area and ensuring the supply of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) for drilling and workover rigs. Previously, as Materials Coordinator at EOG Resources, Hector initiated the rental fleet and water transfer operations in the Barnett Shale, overseeing equipment such as light towers, trash trailers, generators, and water pumps. Earlier career experience includes roles as Operations Manager at Storm Nursery and various positions at Sunoco, including Materials Specialist and Materials Warehouse Supervisor. Hector holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and graduated from Premont High School.
